Care is lavished on the growing and shaping process of all plants. All root pruning is done by hand to minimize the risk of shock and the farms’ in-house horticulturist constantly supervises the operations to the last detail.

The Field Nursery

Double tiering improves the field nursery yield efficiency by a high percentage factor. As one drives along the endless plantings, on discovers dwarf dates or small Chinese Fan Palms growing as an understory to large Queen Palms and other near mature trees. Since species of different growth rates are alternated in the same planting, the slower plants benefit from the shade of the faster-growing varieties. The land is more efficiently used and its yield is maximized.
